From East Cowes car ferry, A3054 to Newport, A3020 to Sandown, A3020 to Shanklin. From Fishbourne car ferry, A3054 to Ryde, straight along Esplanade to the boating lake, follow the road round onto A3055 to Sandown, A3055 to Shanklin. From Yarmouth car ferry, A3054 to Newport, A3020 to Sandown, A3020 to Shanklin.
Public Transport Directions to the Clifton
If you are not bringing a car then we are not able to help with ferry discounts, however if you go to Trainline you are able to book a ticket from any UK station all the way to Shanklin Station, this will include the fast ferry from Portsmouth Harbour to Ryde Pier and the Island train from Ryde Pier to Shanklin. The station is a short taxi ride or a walk of about 1.5km from The Clifton.
From Ryde Pier Head: please either visit the train station annexed to the Catamaran or travel on the No. 2 or 3 bus route
From West Cowes foot passenger ferry: No. 1 bus route to Newport and change to No. 2 or 3
From Yarmouth: No. 7 to Newport and change to No. 2 or 3
