The Isle of Wight Walking Festival is designed to help you experience exactly that, with a programme of guided walks led by knowledgeable local leaders who know the paths, stories and secret viewpoints that bring landscapes to life.
Throughout the festival, you can choose from a wide variety of routes suited to different interests and abilities – whether you fancy a gentle coastal breezy stroll, a countryside ramble through fields and woodlands, or something more adventurous that takes in hills, cliffs and panoramic views. Each walk is carefully planned to showcase the island’s natural beauty, heritage and wildlife while offering a friendly social atmosphere where you can meet fellow walkers and enjoy the journey together.
If you are looking for the perfect base during the festival, the Clifton Hotel here in Shanklin could not be better placed.
